The Economic Reform Programme is one of the key documents in the process of european integrations of Serbia and it is adopted every year with projections for next two years. It should offer a framework for conducting economic policies in order to promote economic growth and development and ensure the competitiveness of the national economy as much as possible.
Currently, the preparation of the new Economic Reform Program 2018-2020 is underway; exactly the fourth phase which is the definition of the Preliminary List of Priority Structural Reforms, followed by a public debate. The preliminary list contains 18 structural reforms in nine areas, which are in compliance with both national documents and all documents from the process of Serbia’s accession to the European Union. Also, when drafting the Preliminary List of Priority Structural Reforms, the guidelines of the EU’s Economic and Financial Affairs Council were the key points. All line ministries participated in the formation of the Preliminary List through the ERP coordinators.
The Preliminary List will be available to the public by November 24, 2017. All stakeholders can send their comments on the Preliminary list to the e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org. The National Convention on the European Union will make its recommendations and comments on the ERP, in particular those working groups that deal with economic policies within the NCEU. Draft of the new Economic Reform Program 2018-2020. will be published, followed by adoption by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and submission to the European Commission in January 2018.
