Competition for Secondary Schools: Knowledge for Sustainable Development
The National Convention on the European Union and the Research Station Petnica invite secondary schools from Serbia to apply for the educational program Knowledge for Sustainable Development.
Fifteen schools that show clear motivation and understanding of the importance of sustainable development will join the program. Each school will form a three-member team – two students and one teacher, to take part in the implementation of program activities. Teachers will have continuous support to bring sustainable development topics into their local communities and schools.
An educational seminar on sustainable development will be held from 5-9 April at Petnica Research Station. After the seminar schools will propose small projects related to sustainable development. Four projects will be selected and implemented in local communities. The maximum budget for each of the projects is 1000 euros.

The program is part of the project – Support to strengthening the influence of civil society on the EU integration process through the NCEU – Civil Society and Youth: Role and Influence. The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Belgrade supports this project.
